A Peek at Our life in Paraguay

I have a mental block about blogging... but here is try # 30 or so.  Here are some pictures of our apartment.   Let's see if this works.  We are on the 4th floor in the Santa Rita Building.

As you enter the apartment, this is what you see to your right. Notice the only wall decoration, its the family pictures.

This is looking straight ahead at the front room. Behind the curtain are sliding glass doors out to a small deck.

Now taking a right turn down the hall.  First doorway to the right will be the kitchen.

Pretty tiny but it works and not to much to clean.  Notice our toothbrushes hanging... that is to remind us to use the water from the filter ( it is the white column thing by the sink).

This is looking into the laundry room. The second door opened is where the maid's quarters would be ( like a walk in closet) and behind that where the closed door is the maids teeny bathroom.  That is where our suitcases are.

This is our washer and dryer combo.  It is new but very different from home.  It takes couple of hours to do one small load.

The next room is on the left of the Kitchen.  It is the spare bedroom used as our office.

There are lots of shelves and closet space along the wall in both bedrooms.

Guest bathroom is next on the left.  Not fancy but lots of nice hot water. And everything is new and clean.

Our bed room is at the end of the hall.  Here is the famous hard bed.  It is working great with the foam topper though.  We don't have any fancy bedding... Only the new purple sheets and a hand-me-down- peach  comforter.  That is a bit too small.  We were glad to have it on the cold nights.   Even wished for a cover or two.  But we are happy and it really doesn't matter. Our bathroom is off our room  and looks exactly like the other one. This is our home for now!
