More of the inside at the Hostal
Mighty rains this week and these were the two places that we saw the damage. The water leaked in and bulged the ceiling in the stair way on our floor.
Here is the pumping out hose fro the water... not very big and has two small leaks so the floor has two wet places. The hose is down in the drain which is about in the middle of the hall.
Now these next pictures are some more of the tour of the hostal. The second floor is where the visitors stay. There are 12 rooms for families like this, one lower bed and 4 bunks.
The bathroom has separate rooms for shower and toilet. With a sink and mirror here and also one
in the entry way below. That one has three nice closet/ cupboards on each side.
Here is the kitchen which is as you walk in... straight across is the bathroom. It is really nice and such a special treat for the couple.
They also have a laundry room, bathroom and open room with tables and chairs and a couple of couches. Plus they have use of the kitchens down stairs and the dinning room.

Here are some views of the Main floor of the Hostal
Right in the center of the building and straight in from the front door is the dinning room.
There are two beautiful kitchens at the right side of the dinning room. Below is a closer view of one.
The last area just past the kitchen is a nice children's room with doors out to the patio. The first door to left is a nursery and the second door is a bathroom.
This is the darling nursery with two cribs -

Try this Search Activity
OOPs! I somehow goofed sending my last blog. Just the pictures were sent without the
writing. I spent so long and even used
the spell check. Hummmm. Then I send it off and that
last blog is what I got. I am NOT doing
it again.
Read the questions and go back to the last blog to find them.
Here is your search game! (Let
the Kids try this too)
See if you
can find…
1. A
tree that has spikes like a dragon.
2. Yellow
cabs that park between us and the temple.
3. A lovely
home attached to the neighbors orange brick home.
4.A
purse made out of armadillo’s skin… (they are very heavy to carry – even without the
stuff girls put in.)
5. A purple house with a balcony.
6. Trees are
the boss here. This one goes clear
across the road. ( I guess they never trim
off any shade)
7. The cars
in the road look like the traffic. Put
they really are parked in the center of the street.
8. Look for
a backpack sign. It signals look out for
a pothole.
9. Find an
orange wall, where you can see the garden through the fence.
10. We see magnificent
sunrises! Wish the camera could really
show what it looked like.
11.This is a
pomegranate growing in someone’s yard.
12.This must be the new model of the barbed wire fence.

The Hostal!
This is the front entrance for the visitors and those coming to shop at the distribution center which is located in the basement. One day Warren went out the front door going to the office building. He got to the gate and he was locked in. Ugh! He goes to go back in the building and the front door was locked. Now he is in prison. He had to wait for someone to come out of the office building to call to for help. It was good it was him... I wouldn't have been able to explain the situation. A few days later the Vesabolles's(missionaries from Argentina, did the same thing. No one what at the office inside the building as the Missionaries, Taos, were not here yet.
Front Gate.
Look who I meet as I go back outside to turn the corner to the back of the building. The missionaries are out on visits. Notice the church and Temple in the background.
This is the back entrance to out hostal.
One side of the lot is for parking... notice trees are never cut down. And the other side is used for soccer and basketball. When there are lots of cars they park on the basket ball court.

Here is the Guard!
This is the back entrance. We go in and out this way as we cross the street to the Temple and to the Church.
This is our small back yard area. Straight ahead (the dark box )is the huge Air -conditioner.
Looking out the one of the back windows we see this is the home and yard that is next to the parking. It is about as wide as a third of the building.
