Try this Search Activity

OOPs!  I somehow goofed sending my last blog.  Just the pictures were sent without the writing.  I spent so long and even used the spell check. Hummmm.  Then I send it off and that last blog is what I got.   I am NOT doing it again.
Read the questions and go back to the last blog to find them.

Here is your search game!    (Let the Kids try this too)

See if you can find…
1. A tree that has spikes like a dragon.

2. Yellow cabs that park between us and the temple.

3. A lovely home attached to the neighbors orange brick home.

4.A purse made  out of armadillo’s skin… (they are very heavy to carry – even without the stuff girls put in.)

5. A purple house with a balcony.

6. Trees are the boss here.  This one goes clear across the road. ( I guess they never trim off any shade)

7. The cars in the road look like the traffic.  Put they really are parked in the center of the street.

8. Look for a backpack sign.  It signals look out for a pothole.

9. Find an orange wall, where you can see the garden through the fence.

10. We see magnificent sunrises!  Wish the camera could really show what it looked like.

11.This is a pomegranate growing in someone’s yard.

12.This must be the new model of the barbed wire fence.

The Hostal!

This is from the corner across the street -looking in a Southern direction.   Our apartment is on the top floor the last two windows on the right side. Right next to us is a narrow building with a home on the top floor with a frozen yogurt shop on the ground level.
We are looking toward the North and  the white building connected to our yellow one is the Church office building . It is on the corner and  across the street is the parking lot for the Church building and the Temple.

This is the front entrance for the visitors and those coming to shop at the distribution center which is located in the basement. One day Warren went out the front door going to the office building. He got to the gate and he was locked in.  Ugh!  He goes to go back in the building and the front door was locked.  Now he is in prison.  He had to wait for someone to come out of the office building to call to for help.  It was good it was him... I wouldn't have been able to explain the situation. A few days later the Vesabolles's(missionaries from Argentina, did the same thing.  No one what at the office inside the building as the Missionaries, Taos, were not here yet.

Front Gate.
I opened the gate walked in the glass front doors and here is the entry way. Straight ahead are the Kitchens( two full ones) and a large dinning room.  It is for the temple visitors who stay over night.  They can cook and eat their meals here.  On the second floor is the bedrooms for visitors.

The front desk is here  on your right.. the Tao's apartment is right next to it as you go down that hall. They are missionaries serving as the managers of the Hostal. They are from Argentina. Sorry they were not in at this time.

Look who I meet as I go back outside to turn the corner to the back of the building. The missionaries are out on visits. Notice the church and Temple in the background.

This is a view of the side of the Office building --At the top of the picture is the street that runs in front of our building. That is where I saw the missionaries. I rounded the corner and am across the street  down by the entrance to the parking lot by the back of our building.  Look at the next blog below.

This is the back entrance to out hostal.

I am  across the street looking at our parking lot in the back of the building.  Notice my walking partners for a nice Sunday walk. Hermana Siddoway on left, Hermana Crowther and the newbie Hermana Peel.

One side of the lot is for parking... notice trees are never cut down. And the other side is used for soccer and basketball. When there are lots of cars they park on the basket ball court.

Now as we look at the building your can see the net to hold the balls in .  Also the white box with the square window is the guards room.  There are three different ones taking turns keeping the grounds safe. They open the gates to let us in and out and they check deliveries and check for fires when Sister Crowther's fire alarm went off when she was making toast.
Here is the Guard!
This is the back entrance. We go in and out this way as we cross the street to the Temple and to the Church.
This is our small back yard area.  Straight  ahead (the dark box )is the huge Air -conditioner.

Looking out the one of the back windows we see this is the home and yard that is next to the parking. It is about as wide as  a third of the building.
