Harp Factory---(two parts)

Here we are ready for our day trip to the Harp Factory.
I loved the open spaces!
I saw this man digging beside the road and had to get it on record.  There seems to be a man digging everywhere we go.
We are off the bus in Luque a town about 45 minutes out from Asuncion.  Many people come from here to the temple. Now as we wait  our bus  I see this boy hanging on as this full bus passes. Ugh!

We are in Luque -heading for the Harp Factory

Here is the second bus that we take to the Campo(country). What an adventure this is!

Tiny Old Church that the Friar Started... Not used now.  Across the way is a newer Catholic Church. Notice the yellow home with the cow in front that is their neighbor.  To the left of the cow was a volley ball net set up.  That looks like a fun neighborhood activity.  I really hope they have a ball!

Sign in the gate says it all... He makes Harps and Guitars but it is not a factory.
This is the home( straight ahead) for the family. It has had a few additions.

The daughter who met us... and Elder Price looking at partially finished guitar.  Below is the shop and Harp maker in fore ground. Sister Price and the Crowthers in the back.

We found a harp at last!!!!  But we have to hurry it is raining.
Here is the horse cart in town... It is a two horse model.

Here is the country model... My umbrella tip adds color.  Notice the boy has red hair. Below is it back side view -with the hug bag on the back.  It looked like they were the junk collectors.       Poor family!  Poor horse!

Brick Factory across from the Church
What a colorful little house.. I loved the color and look at this one below...

Here they are building a new road. We saw this happening in two places... just like at home.
Here is the street market... is was in the center space between the lanes of traffic.
A peek at the main street in Luque.  Lots of little shops on both sides of the street.
Here is the last bus driver taking us home.  Warren noticed he looked a lot like The MONK! But I didn't dare get a picture by running to the front of the bus to get his face.

A Halloween House?

We pass this house each day... It reminds me of Halloween!
You can try this at home!!!
This is was so hard to get the picture of... It is the cracked egg in front of the law firm.
Ants dig up the red dirt so you can see it..
This looks like a dinosaur skeleton!  We see them all around on the electrcial wires. What are they??
We just spotted these flowers starting to bloom here on the temple grounds. It is the Hawaiian flower Bird of Paradise.  Ahhh, we must be in a tropical paradise just like the Islands!  Just keeping a positive attitude here in Paraguay!
